2025 Nevada Small Business Resource Fair to be Held May 7
Small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to attend the free Nevada Small Business Resource Fair powered by the Nevada Department of Business and Industry on Wednesday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sahara West Library, located at 9600 W. Sahara Avenue.
The event is taking place during National Small Business Week 2025, an initiative of the Small Business Administration, which celebrates the resiliency and tenacity of America’s entrepreneurs who are doing their part to power our nation’s economy.
The Nevada Small Business Resource Fair is a one-stop shop for new or existing business owners to make connections and learn about business structure, taxes, licensing, funding, hiring help, marketing, and more. The fair will feature 50+ government and nonprofit exhibitors from Nevada’s dedicated small business and entrepreneurship support community offering free resources and information.
A microbusiness workshop, Design Your Business with the Canvas, will be offered at noon. The session will walk attendees through using the Business Model Canvas to develop a clear, structured approach to designing and strengthening their business model or idea.
Walk-ins are welcome, but online pre-registration is encouraged. Registration can be completed at bit.ly/2025SmallBusinessFair.
Food trucks will be on-site so attendees can grab lunch or a snack. Library parking lot is limited, street parking is available on S. Grand Canyon Drive and Preakness Pass.
